Where to Stay Near Rogers Stadium in Toronto: 9 Top Hotels
Heading to Toronto for an epic summer concert? You’re not alone – Coldplay, Oasis, BLACKPINK and more are headlining six sold-out shows this summer at the city’s newest and largest outdoor venue, Rogers Stadium.
Opening June 29, 2025, the 50,000-person concert space at YZD (formerly Downsview Airport Lands) is set to be the go-to destination for live music in Toronto.
But here’s the catch: there are almost no hotels near Rogers Stadium itself. If you’re traveling in for the show, I believe your best bet is to stay near Union Station downtown or in the city of Vaughan, just north of Toronto.
Both are well-connected via TTC subway. If you stay near Union, you also have the option to take a 20-minute GO Train ride to the venue.
In this guide, I’ll share options for you where to stay near Rogers Stadium that are perfect for concert-goers. Whether you’re looking for luxury, budget-friendly options, or places with great pre-show vibes and post-show comfort.

Where Is Rogers Stadium?
Let’s clear something up – Rogers Stadium is not the same as Rogers Centre.
If you’re visiting Toronto, it’s easy to confuse the two (and even Google is giving the wrong advice). Rogers Centre is the well-known stadium in downtown Toronto, right beside the CN Tower. It’s home to the Blue Jays and surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and tourist hot spots.
Rogers Stadium is the brand-new outdoor concert venue in the north end of the city and a completely different venue from Rogers Centre.
This temporary outdoor concert venue is located in North York at 105 Carl Hall Road, on the grounds of the former Downsview Airport. It opens in June 2025, and will host massive events like the sold-out Coldplay and Oasis concerts.
While it’s still within Toronto city limits, Rogers Stadium is about 17 km north of the downtown core – a drive that can take 40+ minutes depending on traffic.
That’s why choosing a hotel with easy access to public transportation is your best bet for getting to the venue comfortably and on time.
Transportation & Parking at Rogers Stadium
Getting to Rogers Stadium won’t be as simple as walking out your hotel door so planning ahead will be critical.
The venue has recently announced that there is no public parking available on site for concerts. The rideshare pick-up drop-off is located more than 1 km from the main gates. Public transportation will be essential for attending concerts at this location.
Luckily, there are public transit options nearby:
- TTC Subway: The venue is close to Downsview Park Station on Line 1 (University line), making it accessible from downtown Toronto and other major hubs.
- GO Transit: You can also take the GO Train to Downsview Park GO Station, which is also right by the venue.
☞ And just announced, fans heading home from a concert at Rogers Stadium this summer will be able to ride the TTC and GO Transit for free.
The rideshare location is at 111 Befford Road. That said, with 50,000+ attendees, you should absolutely expect surge pricing and long waits if you’re using Uber or Lyft after the show.

Final Thoughts: Where to Stay in Toronto for a Rogers Stadium Concert
If you’re planning to attend a concert at the new Rogers Stadium this summer, the key to a stress-free experience is booking early. Toronto is incredibly busy during the summer and concert season, and hotels in the city will sell out or increase in price.
Here’s a quick recap to help you decide:
Best Places to Stay for a Concert at Rogers Stadium
✓ Stay in Vaughan if you want free parking, a bit more space, and easy access to the subway.
✓ Stay near Union Station if you want to use the GO Train and be in the heart of downtown Toronto, close to restaurants, attractions, and nightlife.
✓ Stay in Yorkville if you want a more stylish, upscale experience that’s closer to Rogers Stadium than downtown, but still directly on the subway line.
Getting to Downsview isn’t the most straightforward trip – so taking the time to plan your hotel and transportation in advance will make all the difference.
With sold-out shows, packed transit, no public on-site parking, and a brand-new venue, you’ll thank yourself for being the one who planned and booked ahead!
