Beaches Skateboard Park Features

This outdoor street-style skate park is the largest in Toronto and has a wide variety of obstacles, including several stair sets, an A-frame, handrails, walls, ramps, ledges, transitional banks, manual pads, and so much more!

For more experienced skaters, there is an awesome 11-foot kidney bowl with pool coping.

Where is the Ashbridges Bay Skate Park Located?

This skate park is located on the north-west corner of Lakeshore and Coxwell Ave., very close to Woodbine Beach and Ashbridges Bay Park in the east end of Toronto. The exact address is 1420 Lake Shore Blvd. E., Toronto, ON.

Is there Parking at the Skate Park?

There are a few locations where you can park close to the Ashbridges Bay Skate Park. Directly north of the skate park is the Tubs & Gee Gage Rugby Park (entrance off of Coxwell Avenue).

This park has a small, free parking lot. The rugby field is attached to the skate park, making it an easy walk across the field to the park. Street parking during non-rush hours is also possible on Coxwell Avenue, directly beside the park.

Parking is pretty accessible most of the time. However, Woodbine Beach and Woodbine Park are very popular spots in the summer months, particularly on weekends and holidays.

This can make parking in the area very challenging. Visitors should consider riding over or taking the TTC during these very busy summer days and events.

Are there Lights at the Skate Park?

Yes. Brand new lights were installed throughout the park in 2020. The lights stay on until 11 p.m.

When is the Best Time to Visit the Skate Park?

The answer to this question always depends on what you are looking for! Weekends and holidays tend to be busier, and during the day or early evening, you are more likely to have younger children and a wider variety of levels.

For those looking for fewer riders, visiting during the week and later in the evening is likely to have fewer youngsters and perhaps slightly more experienced riders.

Is the Beaches Skatepark Safe?

This skatepark is located in a very safe area of the city, very close to the Beaches neighbourhood. Because of its location, visitors have to be intentional about going to the park, and as a result, visitors tend to be those who love to skate and are looking for that fun experience.

There are also a few benches for those who want to relax or watch the skaters.

Are there Public Washrooms at the Skate Park?

No. There are no public washrooms located in the skate park. However, there are public washrooms located at Woodbine Beach, across the street. The washrooms would be approximately a 10-minute walk from the skate park.

Can I get to the Beaches Skatepark by TTC?

Yes! There are several options for getting to the skate park by TTC.

Take the Coxwell 22 bus from Coxwell Subway Station. Get off at Queen St. E. walk/roll south along Coxwell Ave. to the park.
Take the 501 streetcar along Queen St., getting off at Coxwell Ave. and walking/rolling south to the park.
