Yes. The closest hotel to the music venue HISTORY is the Broadview Hotel located at 106 Broadview Avenue.
No. The Days Inn Beaches hotel, formerly located at 1684 Queen St. E. in the Beaches, unfortunately closed on April 1, 2020, after 44 years in business, and the building has been torn down. Such a disappointment, as it was in a prime location right across the street from HISTORY!
As a local, the Days Inn Toronto East, located on Kingston Road just east of the Beaches in Scarborough, is not a hotel I would personally recommend. The hotel has a very low review rating of just 2.9/5 and is not in a convenient or interesting area of the city. I would highly recommend you read the online reviews before booking this hotel.
Yes. There are some very limited Airbnb and VRBO accommodation options in the Beaches. However, quality accommodations, especially those located in the heart of the Beaches book quickly as they are in high demand. Many of those listed as “Beaches” are actually in residential areas that are not considered the Beaches.
There are so many things to do in the Beaches! As a local, my favourite things to do include a visit to Woodbine Beach, a walk through the picturesque Glen Stewart Ravine, or a visit to one of the many excellent outdoor patios. My favourite event in the area is the Beaches Jazz Festival.
