Meet Julie

Hi, I’m Julie — a lifelong Toronto local, born and raised in the Beaches neighbourhood along Lake Ontario.

I created my travel blog, Toronto 2 Anywhere, to help first-time visitors plan better trips to Toronto, Niagara Falls, and across Ontario. I know how overwhelming it can feel to sort through generic travel lists, especially if it’s your first-time visiting the area.

My goal is to give you clear, practical guidance from my local experience so you can confidently decide what’s worth doing, where to stay, and how to get around – especially if you’re visiting without a car.

A Little More About Me

I’ve lived in Toronto my entire life, and I genuinely love exploring my own city.

You’ll usually find me:

  • walking along the waterfront or through one of the city’s many stunning outdoor parks, gardens, or ravines
  • checking out a new restaurant (Toronto’s food scene is incredibly diverse)
  • heading to a Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Raptors, Toronto FC, or Argonauts game
  • going to concerts — from major arena tours to smaller local venues
  • exploring seasonal events, from cherry blossoms in spring to Christmas markets in winter

I also travel frequently and rely heavily on travel blogs when planning my own trips. When I visit somewhere new, I want to know:

✓ What’s overrated?
✓ What’s worth the time and money?

That’s exactly the perspective I bring to this site.
